The security thread specification for this issue has caused persistent collector confusion: the catalog records a narrow-value watermark thread for the September 2000 signature, but this feature is widely reported as either absent or undetectable in practice, possibly reflecting a printing variation or a cataloging error carried forward from earlier documentation.
