The title 'Braunschweiger Notgeld' is printed in Gothic blackletter script across the top, and the issuer's name 'Braunschweigische Staatsbank' appears in matching blackletter at the foot, below a two-line acceptance and expiry notice in italic script, with a manuscript signature at lower right. |
