Obverse description Two nude male wrestlers depicted in vigorous frontal grappling stance, each clasping the other's arms and torso in a dynamic athletic contest rendered in high relief. The figures display fine anatomical detail characteristic of the Classical period, with curly hair on both athletes. A partial dotted border frames the upper right portion of the field, while the irregular flan edge is visible at left. The composition reflects the prominent role of athletic competition in the civic identity of Selge.

Reverse description A nude slinger striding vigorously to the right in a dynamic throwing pose, his right arm extended forward releasing a sling, rendered in bold high relief with expressive musculature. To the right of the figure in the field, a short sword (kopis) is depicted above an astragalos (knucklebone). The Greek ethnic legend of Selge appears in the left field. A dotted border frames the upper register of the design, with a similar border running along the left margin of the field.
