| Obverse description | Draped royal bust facing right, surmounted by an elaborate winged bull-head crown with foliate or flame-like projections rising above. The effigy is rendered in the Sasanian artistic tradition, with ribbon ties or diadem elements visible behind the head. A Pahlavi inscription reading 'King (of) Nezak' appears in the field, identifying the issuing authority. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than typical Sasanian issues, consistent with the hammered coinage of the Nezak Huns of Kapishi. |
