| Popis rubu | A stepped Zoroastrian fire altar occupies the centre of the reverse, with a flame emerging from the altar top rendered as a stylised foliate or palmette motif. Two attendants, dressed in robes, stand facing inward on either side of the altar, each holding a staff or barsom bundle in the Sasanian priestly tradition. Wheel-rosette ornaments appear in the upper field on both sides of the flame, a decorative element characteristic of Nezak Hun coinage. The overall composition closely follows late Sasanian reverse types but with provincial stylistic simplifications consistent with the Central Asian workshop at Kapishi. |
