| Obverse description | The Armenian National Coat of Arms occupies the central field, depicting the traditional heraldic shield supported by an eagle and a lion, with a sword, feather, broken chain, and sheaves of wheat. The Armenian legend ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ arcs along the upper periphery, while the Latin legend REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA curves along the lower rim. The date 2013 appears in the left field and the fineness designation Ag999 in the right field. The denomination 500 DRAM / ԴՐԱՄ is inscribed in the lower central field beneath the coat of arms. |
