(Translation: Art 2. - These notes will have a steady rate until they are relieved; the redemption will be made by drawing lots, the details of which will be determined later, and will commence on the 1st of June, 1901, when the sum of one hundred thousand pounds sterling will be redeemed, and so on each succeeding 1st of June, the sum of one hundred thousand pounds sterling will be repaid until the entire amount has been repaid. As soon as a note has been drawn and redeemed, it will be destroyed by the Treasurer General and Auditor General in the presence of two persons appointed by the Government. Art 3. - These notes will bear an interest rate of six percent per annum, payable to the holder in hard coin every 1 June for the past year at the office of the Treasurer General or a bank or banks designated by proclamation.) |
