| Obverse description | Typographically printed Notgeld note in dark brown on a pale green guilloche underprint. The central panel carries the denomination in large Fraktur script, flanked on both lateral margins by large numeral '5' over the inscription 'Millionen Mark' in bold letterpress. The issuing authority, date of issue (15. September 1923), and payment obligation text are set in Roman type across the centre, below which three facsimile signatures of city officials appear above their respective titles, followed by a serial number in a sans-serif typeface at the foot. |
