The mosque, commissioned between 1830 and 1848 by Muhammad Ali Pasha in memory of his son Tusun Pasha, is set against a guilloche underprint in muted tones. Arabic inscriptions and the denomination appear alongside the Central Bank of Egypt title. |

Multicolour guilloche underprint frames the ancient Egyptian imagery throughout. |
