The face features two large, almond-shaped eyes enhanced with vivid blue and green color-applied irises, a vestigial nasal cavity, and a thin, closed mouth. The slender neck descends to a broad, minimally defined shoulder and chest area that forms the base of the shaped planchet. The sculptural modelling is exceptionally high relief, exploiting the irregular alien-head form of the coin to create a striking three-dimensional portrait evoking popular depictions of the alleged Roswell, New Mexico UFO incident of 1947. |
