A bold starburst vignette in blue at centre carries the large numeral '10' in white, flanked left and right by the denomination legend 'Pfennig' in Gothic Fraktur script on blue banners. Above the vignette, a ribbon cartouche bears the issuer inscription 'Gemeinde Blankenese.' in ornate Fraktur lettering. Below, three lines of small italic German text state the redemption notice dated 'Blankenese, 15.
