The mint formula in the lower margin records the place and date of striking. A marginal legend in cursive Kufic script runs along the outer border, separated from the central inscription by a dotted annulus. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, typical of Buyid hammered silver dirhams of the late 4th century AH. |

The flan is irregularly shaped with uneven edges, consistent with hand-hammered Buyid silver coinage of the period. |
