| Descrizione del dritto | Central field contains a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription arranged in horizontal lines within a dotted inner circle, bearing the Shahada (profession of faith): 'There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner.' The mint formula in the lower margin records the place and date of striking. A marginal legend in cursive Kufic script runs along the outer border, separated from the central inscription by a dotted annulus. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, typical of Buyid hammered silver dirhams of the late 4th century AH. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field displays a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a dotted inner circle, naming the Abbasid caliph al-Ta'i' li-llah, the Buyid ruler Samsam al-Dawla, and his father's laqab 'Adud al-Dawla, together with the Prophetic mission formula. A marginal legend running along the outer border bears the Quranic verse of the mission of the Prophet (Quran 9:33), separated from the central area by a dotted annulus. The flan is irregularly shaped with uneven edges, consistent with hand-hammered Buyid silver coinage of the period. |
