Reverse description The denomination HALF PENNY is inscribed across the central field, flanked on either side by decorative sprigs, all arranged symmetrically around the central circular hole. The territorial legend SOUTHERN RHODESIA curves along the upper periphery, while the date appears in the lower exergual area, with decorative stops framing the inscription. A raised circular border separates the legend from the beaded outer rim. The overall design is restrained and legible, characteristic of British colonial coinage of the period.
