The territorial legend SOUTHERN RHODESIA curves along the upper periphery, while the date appears in the lower exergual area, with decorative stops framing the inscription. A raised circular border separates the legend from the beaded outer rim. The overall design is restrained and legible, characteristic of British colonial coinage of the period. |
