正面描述 Crudely struck obverse depicting a rider on horseback facing right, rendered in a schematic, archaic style typical of early Sogdian coinage. The horse and rider are shown in profile with minimal detail, characteristic of the hammered bronze issues of the Bukhara Sogd region. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, with a rough, pitted surface. The design occupies the central field with no visible border or legend on this side.

附加信息

Bukhara Sogd coinage of this period occupies one of the more contested zones in Central Asian numismatics — the region was shifting under sustained Arab pressure following the initial Islamic conquests east of the Oxus, and local Sogdian lords continued striking their own bronze issues in a kind of administrative defiance that lasted decades into the occupation. Zeimal's classification work, built substantially on Soviet-era excavation finds, remains the primary framework for sorting these types, though attribution of individual specimens is frequently disputed among specialists.

Smirnova 1372 places this among issues traceable to the Bukhar-Khudats, the semi-autonomous rulers who persisted well into the Umayyad period.
