| Opis rewersu | Athena Nikephoros seated on a throne to the left, depicted in full divine regalia: she holds a small Nike (Victory) figure in her extended right hand and a long spear in her left, with a large round shield resting at her feet. The field to the inner left occasionally bears a control monogram, varying by issue. The exergue carries a Greek regnal year date (e.g. ΕΤΟΥΣ ΙΓ for year 13) and, on certain dies, the name of a magistrate. The encircling legend in Greek reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΟΣΤΙΔΟΣ, with the magistrate's name and dating formula completing the inscription. |
