The portrait is modeled in high relief, occupying the full breadth of the flan, with no legend on this side. The artistic style reflects the influence of late Hellenistic royal portraiture current in the eastern Mediterranean during the late second century BC. |

| 裏面の説明 | Athena Nikephoros seated on a throne to the left, depicted in full divine regalia: she holds a small Nike (Victory) figure in her extended right hand and a long spear in her left, with a large round shield resting at her feet. The field to the inner left occasionally bears a control monogram, varying by issue. The exergue carries a Greek regnal year date (e.g. ΕΤΟΥΣ ΙΓ for year 13) and, on certain dies, the name of a magistrate. The encircling legend in Greek reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΟΣΤΙΔΟΣ, with the magistrate's name and dating formula completing the inscription. |
