| Obverse description | Stylized male head facing, rendered in a bold, schematic Celtic-Dacian artistic idiom derived from the prototype of Apollo on Macedonian tetradrachms of Philip II. The facial features are rendered in high relief with a large, flat nose, prominent brow ridges, and a wide mouth; the hair is depicted as a mass of irregular, rope-like tresses radiating from the crown and framing the face. The overall treatment reflects the progressive barbarization characteristic of Dacian imitative coinage, with naturalistic Classical elements reduced to abstracted, geometric forms. |

| Reverse description | A horseman or rider figure depicted to the left in a highly stylized, abstracted manner, seated upon a prancing horse rendered in a schematic Dacian-Celtic imitative style derived from the reverse type of Macedonian Philip II tetradrachms. The horse is shown in profile with exaggerated curved neck, raised foreleg, and simplified body mass; above or before the horse a small helmet or head device is discernible. The design is enclosed within a beaded or dotted border, with the composition filling the field in characteristic barbarous imitative fashion, devoid of legible inscription. |
