Obverse description Highly stylized Gallo-Belgic head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Celtic La Tène artistic tradition. The face is schematically modeled with prominent curved lines indicating the hair, rendered as a series of arched relief strands. A crescent or lunate ornament appears above the head, and the surrounding field is adorned with scattered pellets forming a decorative pearl-like border. The facial features, including the eye and nose, are reduced to abstract geometric forms characteristic of late Iron Age Celtic coinage.
