Obverse description Stylized head of Ogmius facing right, rendered in the La Tène artistic tradition. The hair is arranged in prominent, sweeping locks from which issue multiple beaded cords that extend across the field, a characteristic decorative motif of Gaulish coinage. The facial features are schematically abstracted, with an emphasis on the flowing hair treatment typical of Pictonian electrum staters.
