| Beschrijving voorzijde | A tunny fish (tuna) depicted in left profile occupies the central field, rendered in low relief with naturalistic detail characteristic of early Kyzikene coinage. The tunny, emblem of Kyzikos, is shown horizontally with its distinctive forked tail and elongated body clearly delineated. The surrounding field is plain, framed by the irregular flan edge typical of early archaic electrum coinage. The engraving style is bold and schematic, consistent with the archaic artistic conventions of the late 7th to early 6th century BC. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, divided into four roughly equal rectangular compartments by raised ridges meeting at the centre, producing a deeply recessed mill-sail or windmill pattern. The incuse is irregular and slightly asymmetric, characteristic of the early punched technique employed at Kyzikos during the archaic period. The surface within each compartment shows the natural texture of the hammered flan. No legends or additional devices are present, consistent with the pre-inscriptional phase of Greek coinage. |
