The portrait follows the classical Athenian prototype closely, reflecting the widespread imitation of Attic coinage throughout the Eastern Mediterranean during the late fifth and fourth centuries BC. |

| 裏面の説明 | Owl standing right with head turned to face the viewer, rendered in the Athenian tradition. An olive sprig appears to the left of the bird. To the right, the Egyptian hieroglyph wꜣḥ ('uah', meaning 'enduring' or 'stable') appears alongside the Greek inscription AΘE, combining Egyptian and Hellenic epigraphic elements in a manner characteristic of Philistian coinage of this period. The entire design is set within an incuse square. |
