Obverse description Forepart of a bridled horse advancing to the right, rendered in archaic Greek style with pronounced musculature and flowing mane. The horse's head is lowered and the forelegs are depicted in motion, conveying vitality characteristic of early Arkadian coinage. The flan is irregularly shaped, typical of hand-struck issues of the period. The field is plain and unlettered.

Reverse description Mill-sail or pinwheel incuse pattern composed of four triangular recessed compartments radiating from a central point, forming a swastika-like or windmill design within a circular incuse square. This distinctive geometric incuse is characteristic of early Peloponnesian coinage from Arkadian mints and served as the punch mark of the hammered striking process. The recesses are deeply cut and clearly defined. The field is entirely occupied by the incuse design with no inscription.
