| Описание аверса | Facing left, the youthful female head of the nymph Kamarina, her hair elaborately dressed and bound in a sphendone, rendered in fine Sicilian relief. The portrait displays the characteristic high artistic quality associated with the Kamarina mint of the late fifth century BC. A beaded border frames the type within the irregularly shaped flan. |

| Описание реверса | A swan, wings fully spread in a heraldic display, moves to the left atop a stylised wave pattern rendered as a series of scrolling curves, evoking the marshy lake environment sacred to the city of Kamarina. Beneath the swan, a small fish swims to the left, reinforcing the aquatic symbolism emblematic of this mint. The composition fills the flan without inscription, enclosed by a partial beaded border. |

Kamarina's final coinage. The city was destroyed by Carthage in 405 BC following the catastrophic Sicilian campaigns, and this litra belongs to the last civic emissions before that erasure — struck while Hannibal Mago's forces were methodically eliminating Greek Sicily's western settlements. Kamarina had already been destroyed once, by Syracuse in 552 BC, resettled, destroyed again, resettled again. The Carthaginian sack of 405 proved permanent.
The tight reference cluster across Westermark & Jenkins, SNG Lloyd, and SNG ANS reflects genuine scholarly attention to Kamarina's closing issues, which are sequenced with unusual precision given the brevity of their production window.
