正面描述	Diademed head of Ariarathes VIII Epiphanes facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with youthful, idealized features. The diadem is tied at the nape, with the characteristic long fillet ends falling behind the neck. The hair is rendered in thick, curling locks arranged above the forehead and temples, with a loose strand descending in front of the ear. The portrait occupies the full field of the flan, with no legend on the obverse.

背面描述	Athena Nikephoros standing facing left in the center of the field, clad in chiton and aegis, wearing a crested Attic helmet. She extends her right hand to hold a small figure of Nike, who faces left with wings spread. In her left hand she holds an upright spear, with a large round shield resting against her left side. The royal Greek legend is arranged vertically on either side of the central figure, with the epithet EΠIΦANOY running horizontally along the lower portion of the field. A small control mark appears in the exergue.
