| Description de l’avers | Draped female head facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style derived from the Syracusan Arethusa-Persephone type, with hair bound in a wreath of wheat ears. Three dolphins accompany the effigy: two positioned to the right of the head and one to the left, serving both as decorative field ornaments and as allusions to the maritime identity of the issuing city. The portraiture reflects the strong artistic influence of Sicilian coinage on the Emporitanian mint. |

| Description du revers | Pegasus, the winged horse, depicted in full flight to the right with wings spread and forelegs extended, rendered with vigorous linear style characteristic of Ibero-Greek coinage. Beneath the figure of Pegasus, a boar and a club appear as secondary symbols in the lower field. The ethnic legend ΕΜΠΟΡΙΤΩΝ curves along the lower exergual register, identifying the coin as an issue of the city of Emporion. The reverse design reflects the blending of Greek mythological iconography with local Iberian symbolic elements. |
