| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays Arabic legends arranged in multiple lines across the field, reading the name and title of the issuing khan in a format typical of Chagatai Khanate dirhams. The inscription is struck in a angular, somewhat compressed script within the roughly circular flan, with portions of the legend extending toward or beyond the irregular flan edges. The surfaces exhibit the characteristic granular texture and uneven strike of hammered coinage of Central Asian origin from the late 13th century. Some areas of weak strike are present, consistent with the irregularly shaped planchet used in production. |
