Obverse description Bracteate type struck on a thin silver flan, displaying in the central field a sword and a key crossed saltire-wise, the sword pointing to the upper right and the key oriented downward to the lower left. Two six-pointed stars occupy the left and right fields respectively, flanking the crossed emblems. The entire design is contained within a beaded border that follows the irregular circular periphery of the flan. The iconography references the heraldic attributes of the Bishopric of Dorpat, combining the episcopal key with a sword symbolising temporal and spiritual authority. No legend is present; the coin is entirely anonymous.
