| Opis awersu |
Crude effigy in profile facing right, rendered in the degenerate Carolingian style typical of mid-10th-century feudal deniers. The bust is schematically executed with rudimentary facial features indicated by pellets and incised lines, surmounted by what appears to be a diadem or crown. The field is populated with scattered pellets, and the overall design reflects the progressive stylization characteristic of anonymous feudal coinage from the Loire valley. A beaded or toothed border frames the design at the periphery. |

| Opis rewersu |
Central plain cross pattée dividing the field into four quadrants, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding annular legend, set between the inner beaded circle and the toothed outer border, reads ✠ VHIDEHIS CVƧTR✜, a garbled rendering of VINDOCINUS CASTRUM (Vendôme Castle), typical of the orthographic degradation found on anonymous feudal issues of this period. The overall design follows the standard Carolingian cross-type reverse formula widely adopted by French feudal mints in the 10th century. |
