| Opis rewersu | Central field dominated by a large, boldly struck tamgha or dynastic symbol in the form of a trident-like device with a broad crossbar and three descending prongs, derived from earlier Kushano-Sasanian iconographic traditions. To the right, a schematized standing or crouching figure is visible, rendered in the highly abstracted style characteristic of post-Kidarite debased issues. The field is scattered with pellets and subsidiary symbols. The Brahmi legend SRI NAMVIHA appears in the right field, identifying the issuing ruler. A continuous border of pellets or beads frames the entire design. |
