| Opis rewersu | A stylized horse advances to the left in the lower field, rendered in characteristic Gaulish abstract manner with flowing, wave-like lines suggesting musculature and movement. Above the horse, the tribal inscription YLLYCCI is disposed across the upper field in retrograde or irregular Latin lettering, the characters formed with pronounced lenticular terminals and pellet ornaments. A dotted border of annulets encircles the entire design along the periphery. Additional abstract symbols, possibly representing a wheel or solar motif, appear to the right of the inscription. The overall style is consistent with the coinage of the Senones tribe of northeastern Gaul. |
