To the left stands Isis Pharia facing left, her billowing sail-like garment a hallmark attribute in Alexandrian maritime imagery. To the right stands Demeter facing left, holding a torch and a cornucopia, emphasizing the city's role as a centre of both commerce and divine worship. The regnal year date appears in the field. |
