正面描述	Left-facing crowned effigy of King George V, rendered in high relief after the design of Sir Bertram Mackennal, whose engraver's initials 'B.M.' appear in relief on the truncation of the bust. The surrounding circular legend reads GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND: IMP:, designating the sovereign's titles in Latin as King by the Grace of God and Emperor of India. The portrait is executed in a classical academic style characteristic of MacKennal's Royal Mint commissions of the early twentieth century.

背面描述	At the centre, a crowned shield of arms representing Cyprus divides the date numerals, one on each side of the shield. The crown rests upon a scroll bearing the inscription CYPRUS. The denomination NINE PIASTRES is inscribed along the lower arc of the design, completing the circular layout. The overall heraldic composition is characteristic of British colonial coinage of the early twentieth century.
