| 裏面の説明 | At the centre, a crowned shield of arms representing Cyprus divides the date numerals, one on each side of the shield. The crown rests upon a scroll bearing the inscription CYPRUS. The denomination NINE PIASTRES is inscribed along the lower arc of the design, completing the circular layout. The overall heraldic composition is characteristic of British colonial coinage of the early twentieth century. |
