To the right, a detailed vignette presents the Duisburg civic coat of arms — an eagle surmounting a crenellated tower with flanking cornucopiae and ornate scrollwork — enclosed within a ruled panel with the numeral "5000" below. The left margin carries a vertical guilloche strip of rosette ornaments with the denomination numeral, while the central text panel contains the issuing authority's redemption clause in Gothic script, the place and date "Duisburg, den 15.
