The left margin carries a vertical guilloche strip of rosette ornaments with the denomination numeral, while the central text panel contains the issuing authority's redemption clause in Gothic script, the place and date "Duisburg, den 15. Oktober 1922", the legend "Der Oberbürgermeister:", a red serial number, and a manuscript signature, all set within a fine lace-pattern border. |
