The P#98 500 Dinars belongs to the post-2003 reconstruction series issued after the Coalition Provisional Authority oversaw the complete replacement of Iraq's Saddam-era currency. De La Rue's Gateshead facility — one of the firm's primary security printing sites in the UK — handled production, which was standard for this series given the volume and security requirements involved in re-establishing a functioning national currency after the 2003 invasion.
The "Printed: 30.04.1945" date in the catalog data is almost certainly a cataloging error and should be verified against the note's actual date of issue inscription.
