The lower margin bears the issuing authority inscription and two manuscript facsimile signatures alongside the date 'Münster, den 1. August 1921' and the legend 'Der Magistrat'. |

Vertical side panels in dark ground carry interlaced ornamental designs with the denomination numeral '50' repeated at each corner. The caption 'MÜNSTER i/W. ✦ DOM – WESTWERK ✦' runs along the lower border. |
