| 表面の説明 | Printed in dark olive-brown on cream paper, the upper portion of the obverse carries a panoramic woodcut-style vignette of the Münster cityscape as it appeared in 1570, with the date split across the skyline. Below the cityscape, the denomination numerals '50' and 'Pf' flank a large baroque cartouche enclosing the city arms supported by lion supporters, signed by the artist J. Dominicus at lower right. The lower margin bears the issuing authority inscription and two manuscript facsimile signatures alongside the date 'Münster, den 1. August 1921' and the legend 'Der Magistrat'. |

The caption 'MÜNSTER i/W. ✦ DOM – WESTWERK ✦' runs along the lower border. |
