| Opis awersu | Printed in dark olive-brown on cream paper, the upper portion of the obverse carries a panoramic woodcut-style vignette of the Münster cityscape as it appeared in 1570, with the date split across the skyline. Below the cityscape, the denomination numerals '50' and 'Pf' flank a large baroque cartouche enclosing the city arms supported by lion supporters, signed by the artist J. Dominicus at lower right. The lower margin bears the issuing authority inscription and two manuscript facsimile signatures alongside the date 'Münster, den 1. August 1921' and the legend 'Der Magistrat'. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse is printed in the same dark olive-brown palette and presents a detailed woodcut vignette of the western facade of St. Paulus Dom (Münster Cathedral), with its twin Romanesque towers and elaborately carved Gothic porch visible between flanking trees. Vertical side panels in dark ground carry interlaced ornamental designs with the denomination numeral '50' repeated at each corner. The caption 'MÜNSTER i/W. ✦ DOM – WESTWERK ✦' runs along the lower border. |
