The German-language text panel bears the Oesterreichisch-ungarische Bank's promise to pay in Vienna and Budapest, dated Wien, 2. Jänner 1902, with three facsimile signatures of the Generalrat, Gouverneur, and Generalsekretär below. A circular 'TIMBRU SPECIAL ROMANIA' overprint stamp at lower centre was applied by Romanian authorities to validate the note for circulation in Bukovina. |

The central panel carries the Hungarian-language promise to pay in bold typography, with 'ÖTVEN KORONA' as the principal denomination inscription and the date 'Bécs, 1902. január 2.' below. Three facsimile signatures of the főtanácsos, kormányzó, and vezértitkár appear at the foot of the panel, with the anti-counterfeiting warning legend along the lower border. |
