| 背面描述 | A coiled five-clawed Imperial dragon, rendered in high relief, occupies the central field, its body sinuously curled and facing the viewer with an open-mouthed, horned head positioned at the top. A flaming pearl is clutched beneath the dragon's body at centre. Two five-pointed stars serve as separators within the circumferential English legend, which reads 'SHEN-SI PROVINCE' along the upper arc and '3.6 CANDAREENS' along the lower arc. The entire design is bordered by a continuous reeded rim. |

Shaanxi (Shensi) Province never operated a modern steam-powered mint of its own, which makes this pattern's existence something of an administrative curiosity. It was almost certainly struck elsewhere — most likely at a central facility — as a proposal that never advanced to circulation. Kann attributed the piece cautiously, and the KM pattern designation reflects genuine uncertainty about whether provincial authorization extended beyond the specimen stage.
Only a handful of confirmed examples are recorded.
