Reverse description The central design features a detailed depiction of the South Point Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Barbados, rendered in fine relief against a scenic background of billowing clouds and radiating light beams emanating from a sun partially obscured behind the tower. A low keeper's building is visible at the base of the lighthouse. The engraver's initials PN appear discreetly in the lower right field near the base of the tower. The denomination legend FIVE CENTS curves along the lower periphery within a beaded border.
