The issuer name 'Residenzflecken Neuhaus i.W.' is set in bold Fraktur lettering across the upper portion, below which the denomination 'Drei Mark' appears in large ornate script. A central vignette presents a coloured panoramic townscape flanked on either side by large numeral '3' tablets on dark grounds; below the vignette a red banner bears the inscription 'BISCHÖFL. RESIDENZ 1247 BIS 1802', with the municipal seal in red at lower left and the date 'Neuhaus i. Westfalen, den 1. Nov. 1921' along the bottom margin. |
