| Descrizione del dritto | Printed entirely in orange on cream paper embedded with coloured fibres, the note is divided by a vertical rule into a left panel and a main field. The left panel carries the denomination in German (HELLER / 20) and Cyrillic (ГЕЛЛЕРОВЪ), the series designation (Serie B), and the printed serial number, all within a geometric border of diamond and square ornaments. The main field bears the Imperial Austro-Hungarian arms vignette at upper centre flanked by the issuing authority and location, with the voucher value in bold letterpress below, followed by three lines of regulatory and financial text and the facsimile signatures of the administrative officer and camp commandant. |

Brunn am Gebirge, south of Vienna, housed one of the Austro-Hungarian military's internment camp complexes during the First World War. The camp warehouse — the Gewerbelager — issued its own small-denomination scrip precisely because the regular imperial currency was in short supply and camp authorities needed a controlled medium for internal transactions. These Heller notes are camp money in the strictest sense: valid only within the wire.
The two signatories tell you the chain of command clearly. Oberst Popletsan as Lagerkommandant had overall authority; Oberleutnant Puskás as Verwaltungsoffizier handled the administrative machinery that would have included issuing and accounting for the scrip.
