Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse is printed on a yellow-ochre guilloche underprint and carries three vignettes in intaglio: at left, a sailing vessel on open water; at centre, an allegorical female figure seated on a rock with a stringed instrument, a harbour and ships visible in the background; at right, an oval vignette with a deer in a landscape. The denomination numeral '20' appears in large figures on both sides of the central vignette, with the bank title 'BANCO DE MARACAIBO / COMPAÑIA ANÓNIMA' and capital statement at the top. A promise-to-pay legend in Spanish runs below the central vignette, with the date and place of issue on the handwritten line above.
