Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with delicately engraved hair swept back and bound with a laurel wreath, a braided lock falling behind the ear. The facial features are finely modeled with a straight nose and slightly parted lips. The field is plain, and the flan shows the characteristic irregular fabric of provincial bronze coinage of the period.
