Aanvullende informatie

Chad's series of aviation-themed silver issues from the early 2000s was produced by a European private mint under license — Chad itself had no minting infrastructure — and the program was aimed squarely at the thematic collector market rather than any domestic monetary function. The DC-10 had already been out of production for over a decade by 2002, McDonnell-Douglas having been absorbed into Boeing in 1997.

The type sees inconsistent multicolor application across surviving examples, a known quality-control issue with this series.
