| Reverse description | A detailed architectural rendering of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge dominates the central field, with the bridge's cable-stayed towers and sweeping span depicted in fine relief against a subtly textured background evoking sky and water. Stylized floral motifs appear in the lower left and right corners. The English inscription 'Commemoration of the Opening of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge' curves along the upper portion of the field, while the Chinese legend 港珠澳大桥通车纪念 is inscribed to the right. The denomination 10元 appears in the lower right area of the field. |

The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge opened in October 2018 after nearly a decade of construction delays, cost overruns exceeding initial estimates by billions of renminbi, and persistent legal challenges from Hong Kong environmental groups. At roughly 55 kilometers, it is the longest sea-crossing bridge-tunnel system ever built. China's commemorative coinage program routinely marks major infrastructure achievements as assertions of engineering ambition, and this bridge — connecting three distinct legal jurisdictions under one structure — carried particular political weight in Beijing.
