At center, two crossed mining hammers (Schlägel und Eisen), the traditional heraldic symbol of the mining industry, rendered in raised relief. A circular Latin legend encircles the central device, reading 'ACT. GES. GLÜCKAUF' along the upper arc and 'LICHTENAU' along the lower arc, flanked by two five-pointed stars at either side. The overall design is utilitarian in style, consistent with German wartime and postwar emergency small-change token production. |
